In this information age, it is vital designers constantly and carefully consider their audience. Audience members differ wildly and are solely connected by their want to access your content. Therefore, an Information Designer must make that content as informative, understandable, and concise as possible to a wide audience.
My design philosophy centers on usability. I believe that the most effective documents are ones that are easily accessed. I aim to ensure every document I create is available to every type of audience.
My process is detailed and thoughtful. I take the necessary time to perfect every aspect of my design. I start with low-fidelity prototypes and carefully workshop them with my team members to create a prototype that can be user-tested. User testing is the best way to know the audience’s needs and wants. After user testing, my team can create our first high-fidelity prototype, and then we’re off to the races!
